Our Founder

A Lifetime of Craftsmanship and Innovation.

Behind PirogueCraft is a founder with an extraordinary track record. With over 45 years of experience in the fiberglass industry, he was a true pioneer – building the very first windsurf board factory in the Netherlands and expanding to three factories across the country, exporting boards worldwide.

This hands-on experience with fiberglass composites, production scaling, and international export has given him an intimate understanding of what makes a boat strong, light, durable, and seaworthy.

In addition to his fiberglass expertise, our founder has built and sold multiple successful international companies across the green energy, water treatment, and industrial manufacturing sectors. His businesses have operated in Europe, the Americas, and beyond, with manufacturing facilities in the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada.

He has advised multinational corporations, developed cutting-edge extraction technologies in South America, and created high-performance water pumping systems. This deep technical and business experience gives PirogueCraft a unique edge – we don't just build boats; we build them with the precision, reliability, and long-term thinking of an industrial leader.
